GLOBAL KINGDOM MINISTRIES

GKM Music is the worship team of Global Kingdom Ministries (GKM) in Scarborough, Ontario. We seek to tell the story of what God is doing in our house through scripture-centred songwriting and creative arrangements guided by sensitivity to the leading of Holy Spirit. GKM Music has led at conferences, services and retreats across denominations and generations. When we gather, we believe transformation is inevitable when we come with the expectation that God will move as we steward what He’s given and serve with humility.

Beyond writing and leading worship, the team extends its service by resourcing local congregations. Roberts Liardon

WEEK 2 MORNING / EVENING SPEAKER

ROBERTS LIARDON - JULY 29 - AUGUST 4

From a young age, Roberts Liardon was destined to become one of the most well-known Christian authors and orators of his generation. To date, he has sold more than 16 million books worldwide that have been translated into more than 60 languages and has ministered in 127 countries. Roberts is recognized internationally and has experienced great success as a revivalist, an inspirational speaker, an author, and a church historian.

When Roberts was 12 years old, Jesus appeared to him in a vision and told him to study the great preachers — to learn both of their successes and failures. From that day on, Roberts began to devote himself to this study. This lifelong pursuit has established him as a leading Protestant Church historian, a role he carries with honor to this day.

At age 17, Roberts published his first book, I Saw Heaven, in which he related his experience of going to Heaven as a young boy. The book catapulted Roberts into the public eye and sold more than 1.5 million copies. Later his “God’s Generals” book series also found a worldwide reading audience that has continued to grow over the years, and his “God’s Generals” DVD has been one of the bestselling DVD series in the history of Christian media.

In 1990, Roberts Liardon moved to Southern California and founded his worldwide headquarters in Orange County, California. There he and his team founded Embassy Christian Center and Spirit Life Bible College, both of which became among the largest and most influential in the region. In 2008, Roberts moved his ministry headquarters to Sarasota, Florida, where it is currently located.

Roberts Liardon continues to speak to this generation in pulpits across the United States and around the world. He also produces his own online courses, where he teaches on God’s Generals and other key Bible truths. Each year millions are touched through this worldwide ministry, a genuine resource of victory for the entire Body of Christ.

Bill Prankard.jpg

WEEK 2 MORNING / EVENING SPEAKER

BILL PRANKARD - JULY 29 - AUGUST 4

BILL PRANKARD is the Founder & President of the Bill Prankard Evangelistic Association. He is a healing evangelist with a burning vision for revival. In 1972, while pastoring a small Pentecostal Church in Canada, he had a life-changing encounter with the Holy Spirit in a Kathryn Kuhlman service. That experience launched him into international healing and evangelism ministry.  Thousands of people have received outstanding physical miracles and spiritual transformations as he crosses denominational lines and carries the full Gospel message, “in demonstration of the Spirit and power.”

The scripture that has been the driving vision of the BPEA ministry is Canada’s motto, Psalm 72:8 - “He shall have dominion from sea to sea, and from the river to the ends of the earth.”  During his more than five decades of evangelistic ministry, Bill has taken Healing and Hope “from sea to sea” in Canada and abroad. He established and led churches, hosted weekly and daily television ministry, authored several books and publications, and produces regular podcasts, online “Mentoring Moments” and monthly online healing ministry events.  He and his teams have taken the Gospel to “the ends of the earth” in both the Canadian and Russian Arctic regions where the name of Jesus had never been heard, mentored Indigenous leaders, and spearheaded the funding and establishment of native churches.  In recent years, Champions of Hope teams have been carrying on and developing the mission outreaches in the Arctic.

Bill and his wife Gwen are parents to four adult married children, twelve grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.
